June Gormin is a comedian and filmmaker with a focus on writing and editing. Her relentless drive for self-expression has taken her through a wide array of unexpected and unconventional creative pursuits. No matter the medium her work consistently circles back to the same core impulse: telling stories and capturing layered reflections of herself and the world she inhabits.
Throughout her career, she has taken on many roles—audio engineer, musician, DJ, sketch comedian, actress, clothing designer, photographer, director, impact producer, novelist, journalist, and more—each experience shaping her distinctive voice and multidisciplinary approach to storytelling.
As a designer, June embraces maximalism, layering bold details with intention and personality. She is especially passionate about production design and post-production, bringing a meticulous eye to every visual element and shaping each frame with care and precision.
As a comedian, she has used her absurdist lens to tell stories from her past, chronicling cartel ex-boyfriends and addiction. She has worked with big name performers such as Chris Fleming, Edy Modica, Spike Einbinder, and Jane Wickline. She has had the opportunity to tour twice, and plans to tour again once she finishes her special.
She has been working with What Will I Become? since 2025 as a field producer and impact coordinator.
